Very nice; his mane looks great, though the body looks rather hard-edged and he doesn't really look integrated into the environment.

I think your work could do with a bit more contrasts
The lion doesn't really stand out from the background, and the shape of the hand is a bit indefined because of the soft edges I think.
It looks like you worked at a pretty big digital canvas, and in some places you got a lot of detail in it (like in the fairy) but in other places (arms, background?) the detail is a lot less.
I would suggest that you make the fairy quite a bit bigger, so that the detail on the fairy actually shows, and that you try to get a bit more contrast into this.
I'm not so good at paintovers, but you can always ask someone here to do a paintover for you to get a visual explanation about what you can do to make this better.
Things I really like in this are the Mane (nice glow in it, and it really looks like hair), and the fairy.

well i believe the background is a bit soft than it needs to be
u could have used a bit more blue in the sky
the sharpness of the fairy color suggests that its day light and a bright one at that.
so the dusky look kinda dulls the strength of this piece

but the character designs are as always really great man
really liked the lion kingish look on him, they really look cute man
the form of the lion suggests that he is one mean M.F. as well as he is slick
